Mark Levin on the Israel/Gaza conflict
Someone who was most certainly not a leftist lunatic was the late (and great, I’ll add) Joan Rivers. I recently stumbled upon an old TMZ video of her flawlessly explaining the Israel-Palestine conflict:
“Let me just tell you – if New Jersey were firing rockets into New York, we would wipe them out. I am so bored. If we heard they were digging tunnels from New Jersey to New York, we would get rid of Jersey, so I don’t want to hear any more of ‘we’ll do a partial truce.’ Palestinians, you cannot throw rockets and expect people not to defend themselves.”
And when asked the inevitable question – what about civilian casualties? – Rivers said:
“They started it! … CBC should be ashamed of themselves, and CNN should be ashamed of themselves.”
Fantastic. That was almost ten years ago, and Rivers’ words continue to ring true, especially when it comes to the media’s treatment of this issue. They pushed pro-Palestine propaganda then, and they’re doing it now.
Have you ever wondered why it’s just Palestinian civilians they care so much about? You never hear the media harping on civilian safety in other parts of the world – including our own American civilians being raped and murdered near the southern border.
Why do we only ever hear about poor Palestinian lives? It’s because they’ve realized victimizing the Palestinians is the golden ticket to undermining Israel and stopping Israel from winning the war.
If you need more proof, look no farther than the scientific survey conducted by the Arab World for Research and Development. While the New York Slimes and the Washington Compost will never report on this, AWRAD found that the majority of these “innocent” Palestinian civilians support Hamas’ October 7 attacks and hope to see the Jewish nation wiped from the face of the earth.
Let me translate that for you: There’s not much discrepancy between the terrorists and the Palestinian civilians.
However, Joe Biden, as the backstabbing street politician he is, continues to push for a two-state solution. Not only will that never stop the terrorists, but it will also leave Israel in a weakened state unable to defend its fractured nation.
Biden and his toxic administration are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. On one hand, they want you to believe that they “stand with Israel,” but they also want you to believe that Israel is indiscriminately bombing Gaza and therefore must be stopped.
They’re lying to you. There is no indiscriminate bombing in Gaza. The Israelis set up safe areas for Gazan civilians, and even though Hamas exploits those safe zones, Israel continues to drop phony bombs to warn civilians to flee. Israel sends out flyers and text messages in an effort to spare the very people who hope for their demise. What other military does that? None that I can recall.
But Israel’s altruism is disregarded. Why? Because Israel still wants to win the war and save its very existence, which is exactly why it is begrudged. Again, the very point of a ceasefire is to thwart Israel. It has nothing to do with humanitarianism.
Think of it this way: Given all the other genocidal regimes in the world, why is ceasefire only a topic of conversation when it comes to Israel? I’ll tell you exactly why. To Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and all the other desert rats, a ceasefire means one thing: Israel stops, while they continue to rain hellfire. And for Biden, it means he keeps the votes of the Arabs and Muslims he’s invited across our borders.
So the next time you hear calls for a ceasefire, remember that there already was a ceasefire in place. It ended on October 7, and now Israel must act. Israel’s response to the unspeakable crimes committed against its people is not extreme. What is undeniably extreme, however, is our own government stifling Israel’s attempts to protect its nation while simultaneously funding Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the PLO. That is the very definition of extreme, and we must speak out against it.

Can't re-watch it again
I was 13-14 when I watched this movie. It's a long movie if I recall it correctly. I was so moved by it's theme, so I watched it all. I had strong feelings of sadness and sympathy towards little robot David that wanted to be a real child and to have a mom to love him. And that little bear ... I cried during some scenes. I don't ...
