The most personally moving and rewarding event in my life occurred on April 5th, 2024.
A large group of my fellow cadets in Israel's Navy Officer course (about 45 years ago) came down from the north to be with me for a party celebrating my 70th birthday.
In addition to those who came, many sent me wonderful videos which were colated and projected where they sent me birthday blessings and great recollections from our time together.
As I failed to complete the course and served my service in the Navy as an enlisted man, the Whatsapp group of 2,500 former Navy officers including the CNOs took a pole and unanimously voted to award me an honorary commision as an officer in the IDF navy.
This was the only possible gift that could be given to me that would actually really matter to me.
I want to express my thanks and my love to all the members of my course as well as to the entire Navy for giving me this gift which I will treasure to the end of my days.

David, an artificial kid which is the first to have real feelings, especially a never-ending love for his "mother", Monica. Monica is the woman who adopted him as a substitute for her real son, who remains in cryo-stasis, stricken by an incurable disease. David is living happily with Monica and her husband, but when their real son returns home after a cure is discovered, his life changes dramatically.

Can't re-watch it again
I was 13-14 when I watched this movie. It's a long movie if I recall it correctly. I was so moved by it's theme, so I watched it all. I had strong feelings of sadness and sympathy towards little robot David that wanted to be a real child and to have a mom to love him. And that little bear ... I cried during some scenes.
